Some of his firm’s thoughts that interest me were:&lt;br /&gt;“Attention to detail and celebration of craft”&lt;br /&gt;“Buildings are for the people who use them”&lt;br /&gt;“Architecture is grounded in technology of its time”&lt;br /&gt;“Architecture that connects us with nature”&lt;br /&gt;“Our goal is to make architecture in which one can experience surprise, intellectual stimulation, a profound sense of physical well-being, and an affirmation of the spiritual unity between man and nature.”&lt;br /&gt;Two homes I found particularly interesting were the Spencertown House and the Taghkanic House.
